Creating a Romance Cover – Without Painting

Posted on 2015/04/01 at 15:50 by daarken 6 Comments

In this tutorial Daarken shows you how to create a sweet romance novel cover that will make your legs quiver and your loins tingle. Plus you don’t even have to do any actual painting!

Topics covered

  • How to create an exciting cover
  • What women and men want to see
  • How to add special effects!
  • Using photos to create an awesome cover

Warning! In case you haven’t figured it out or if you didn’t watch the end of the video, this was an April Fools’ joke. This was not supposed to be taken seriously and I don’t believe anything I said in this video. Again, this was just supposed to be for fun, it isn’t real.

Seriously? You didn’t even check to see if the photos you used were copyrighted? And you are an artist? I suppose you would have no problem if I took some of your work and used it on a commercial project then.

Great way to instruct people how to steal artwork.

This was an April Fools’ joke. This was not supposed to be taken seriously at all and at the end of the video I even said this was just a joke. I’m sorry you misunderstood the video and thought it was real.

Whoa, I need a pair of glasses like yours with the flip down dark lenses! Do those have a purpose other than acquiring cool points?
