Photoshop Filters – Liquify

Over the years most people have lost respect for Photoshop filters and groan at the mention of lens flare. The trick to using filters correctly is to be subtle with them and know how to use them correctly. The liquify tool is a great filter that allows the artist to make changes quickly without having to repaint large areas. In this video Daarken shows how you can use the liquify tool to change the perspective on an object.

I’m not sure if it’s just me but the video doesn’t seem to be playing. Just a black screen for some reason
Nevermind, I had HD turned on and it was glitching it. Great video! :)
HD is acting weird, huh? Have you isolated the problem?
Yup, it should work now.
This is a cool tutorial. I’d never even heard of this feature. The more I learn about photoshop the less I want to draw with a pencil! lol
I’ve tried this tool a lot of times in the past, but it’s kinda hard to control. Makes it one of those tools you have to practice or get the feeling for, rather than just pick it and use it right away :/
Thanks for another video Daarken.
Cool, I would normally use warp and such, but liquify looks a lot less messy. Thanks for the tut!
By the way, cool little figure.
Thanks a lot for tutorial, I really love photoshop!!
Thanks for the tutorial! I’ve been wanting to learn this tool for some time now…at least how to use it correctly :) Now I don’t need to erase something and draw it over again.
Awesome, Thanks, Daarken!
